The reputation of the City College of New York was one of the main reasons why I chose it. It was also within my commuting distance. One of the things that I was able to do was to have a course taught by my professor in the Physics Department. I was able to obtain a teaching license in science and taught for 33 years. I started out as a lab specialist at a high school in Staten Island. I also worked in the community college.
