Faculty Service Award

Established in 1962, this award recognizes current City College faculty members for exemplary service to the CCNY campus and community. The following criteria will be used in the selection process. A nominee’s service should have: contributed to the quality of campus life, enhanced students' personal and/or academic growth, be above and beyond the nominee's regular duties, been rendered continuously for several years, and he/she/they should not have received financial compensation for this service.

Nomination process and timing

Please email your nominations to David Covington, dcovington@ccnyalumni.org. The award will be given at the Alumni Association Annual Meeting in June. Submissions are accepted year-round, however the deadline for the current year’s award is the first Friday in March.

NOTE: Names of nominees submitted within the past two years are automatically reviewed by the Faculty and Administrative Staff Service Award Committee. Nominators are encouraged to send to the Alumni Association Office any new information/data concerning their nominee that was not included in the original submission.
