The reason I chose to attend the City College of New York was that I lived in the Bronx and it was the closest city college. My sister attended there as well. What made an impression on me was the fact that the professors are so wonderful, especially in my Latin American and Latino studies major. I took the subway or bus to campus. I went into teaching after my time there. I'm now retired.
