At that time I was working full-time. I wanted a higher education in order to qualify for the different job postings for the City of New York, so I had to go back to school. We were offered different options for going to school at night through a satellite program. That's what I entered and got center for worker education. It was at a very close location to the jobs. That's why I went to the City College of New York. I was impressed with the friends that I made. I met amazing women as well as young men at the college. They were all very ambitious until part of their vision fell off on me, even though I'm older. I learned something from them. They said, 'Keep on it. I admire you for going back.' That was a good reason to go back to school. No matter what the age is, it's good to go back to school. Through CCNY I had a better view of life to continue to do the things I wanted to do, even though I didn't have a chance to do it earlier in life. As I've gotten older I've taken the time to look back, and to look forward. I'm okay that CCNY did something for me. I couldn't find anything better.
