Career Success

I have a degree in hospitality management. I'm from New York, so when I wanted to go back to do my engineering degree, I had dealt with some people from CUNY already and was intent on going to a CUNY school. When I searched to see which school had the School of Engineering, I started to do my research on CCNY. I felt that it would be the best fit out of any other engineering school in the area after I looked at the school's history and met some of the alumni. That's what I did from my undergrad. I was in Tau Beta Pi, the engineering honor society. I was in the NYWEA group, the New York Water Environment Association. I started working at the Environmental Protection Agency in 2016 when I graduated. I continued to do my master's because of my connections with several of the professors there and my desire to continue some of the research projects that we were doing. After completing my master's, I now teach as an adjunct in the School of Engineering in addition to my full-time job for the federal government. I'm also on the advisory board for the environmental engineering program at CCNY.
