BS '18

I was an immigrant from Lagos, Nigeria. When I came to the United States, I was looking for a good education at a cheaper rate. I started at a community college where I got financial aid. I then proceeded to the engineering program at the City College of New York as it was cheaper and the quality of education was good. I think the campus was a very conducive environment for people to study. I finished my bachelor's from CCNY as well as my master's. After graduation, I got a full-time job. In November of last year, I started my journey at Facebook as a program manager. I learned the skillsets about program management and leading a team to get a very successful outcome or bringing a project to fruition being in the BME program. CCNY is a great school, and I learned a lot. You have real-life experiences from CCNY which can translate to your real-life job. I have nothing but positive things to say about CCNY, and I always recommend it to anyone.
