My cousin's boyfriend recommended the City College of New York. I made some friends, and I learned how to swim there because I took my first swimming class. The experience was good. I then got pregnant and came back to complete my degree. I had good professors too. I took the placement test, and it really shaped me. I know people that have been in school longer than me and I was able to get through the class better than they did; it was a good accomplishment for me. I do work for the department of economic and housing development.
