BA '73

The City College of New York was reputed to be the best, so I applied. During my time there, I worked on a school newspaper. It was quixotically called The Paper. Before that, it was called Tech News. I worked there for a few years. I ran into a very kind coach who allowed me to participate on the fencing team. Those were two of my greatest memories. CCNY was my alma mater. I majored in English and I found that my proficiency in the language always opened doors for me. I had a finance career for 21 years, and it was always enhanced by my alacrity with English. For my closing work years, I was an English teacher at a high school in Newark, New Jersey.
