I was in the ROTC and was one of the founders of the Onyx Society, which was the first African American organization on the campus. I was a member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. and also in a military fraternity, the Association of the United States Army and a distinguished military graduate. In 1976 I graduated from Harvard Business School with second-year honors. After Harvard I had a 35 year career in broadcasting and cable advertising sales management.
