BA '52
I actually went into the class of '51, and I took one semester off because I moved out-of-state. Then I came back to CCNY. In the first semester, I went to the uptown location. It was post-war, and there were a lot of GIs there at that time. I enjoyed being there. I enjoyed the classes, and I did pretty well in my marks. My life changed. I had classes mostly in the morning, and I went out and worked after school. I worked some of my days at CCNY for the same company that I worked for 50 years. After college, I went into sales. I became the sales manager and then I became a vice president. I then became the executive vice president of the company. That's where I ended my career with them, with two years out for military service. I was in the army from 1954 to 1956.
