Career Success

I got an engineering degree from the City College of New York. My first job was in the New York City Housing and Renting Department, and I worked there for about eight months. I met a friend from CCNY who introduced me to UPS while I was working over there, so I landed a job with UPS at the district level in Maspeth, New York. I was in that engineering department for about ten months, and it was great. I was promoted to the national level and worked in the electrical engineering department in Manhattan. I worked with UPS for 32 years, and I've been retired for 16 years now. CCNY meant a lot to me because they gave me free education and that education got me the job I studied for. That's what impacted me, and it turned my life around and forward. It is also who you know in your life that impacts you. My friend who introduced me to UPS also pointed me to the right direction.
