Faculty & Staff

I lived in New York City all my life, so I always had a close tie to New York City. It's a wonderful environment in terms of intellectual opportunities, like Broadway shows and concert halls. I don't think you could go to any city in the world that has that kind of versatility and diversity as New York City. It has a very diverse population, so it was important to me. One of the major issues was my family having sufficient funds to send me to college. CCNY was the opportunity for me, and my condition with my folks. Both of them were working to maintain a family, and they didn't have the money to send me to a town college, so CCNY was a good opportunity for me. I had a wonderful experience there. The programs were very interesting. I think I was a pretty good student, as I took advantage and was more serious about the information that the professors would offer. I only have good memories of my time at CCNY. I appreciated all the professors. The faculty was wonderful. I learned something different from each member of the faculty in various courses that I've taken at CCNY. Some of them still stay in my memory. One in particular was my mechanical engineering design professor, who told me that perception was very important. Many different things like that stayed with me in my life and helped me through my experience. They certainly impacted me in various ways.
