My lack of funds and my desire for a quality college education inspired me to choose the City College of New York. I had high-enough grades to get admitted at that time. My life on campus was wonderful. I belonged to a House Plan. My favorite professors were Professor Johnson and another anatomy professor. CCNY had an impact on me by enabling me to proceed with a very constructive life and follow through with going to medical school and being very community-oriented. I joined the Army through the ROTC program at CCNY. I became a psychiatrist. I've always given some of my time to do community work based upon the wonderful education I received at CCNY. It makes me smile to think of the fact that the school enabled me to get a college education, connected me with very wonderful people, and allowed me to progress with a constructive career.
