My sister and I are twins, and we did a lot of things together. We had the same profession, and we both were school psychologists for many years. What inspired us to attend the City College of New York was living in the neighborhood. During our time at CCNY, we had some favorite professors. We took French from the chair of the Romance and Languages Department, and he was also a member of the organization who set the language standards in France. We also had a professor in psychology who was one of the first favorite professors we had. We enjoyed our time there, and it was a very interesting experience on the campus because we lived so close. The president of CCNY influenced us in some way because it was the beginning of the civil rights movement, and Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and some of the people who followed would come and speak on the campus. Dr. King spoke at the commencement and we got to meet a number of people who were part of his group.
