BE '70

I went into the Navy after high school. When I came out, I decided to go back to school. I went to Bronx Community College for pre-engineering, and then I transferred to CCNY and received my engineering degree at night. The degree I achieved was invaluable professionally; however, what was equally important was the fact that my studies prepared me to think analytically. That skill was invaluable during my career. I established many relationships and still keep those friendships. I've worked for numerous companies. In 1964 I founded my own business. It was a manufacturing company that manufactured replacement batteries for communication equipment. I also added test equipment to my line. I was the CEO of the company - W&W Manufacturing, Inc. - for 37 years. I grew the company from two employees to approximately 63. We did business both domestically and internationally. I sold the business in 2013. I’m now retired and have homes in Lake Worth, Florida, and in Muttontown, New York.
