Ann Marie L. Corpuz

In high school, I did a bunch of these college visits and was actually blessed enough to attend the College Now program at CCNY. As a high schooler taking classes at CCNY, I was like 'Wow, this campus is beautiful.' I really loved the people and the support system that they gave me. Right then and there, I had decided that I was going to go to CCNY. I got the HESC scholarship that was geared towards STEM majors. One of my favorite engineering professors was Gary Benenson. I had him for several classes and he also served as an unofficial advisor for me. He was very motivating, inspiring, and very real about the engineering field. I would definitely say that CCNY prepared me for my career. I currently work as a mechanical engineer for the United States Department of Defense.
