Career Success

I chose CCNY because it was an outstanding college. My parents were not well-off and my academic record allowed me to enter and get a free education. During my time there, I was in the ROTC, which was how I became an Army Officer. CCNY's ROTC Department was the second largest in the country, and it had a very vibrant association of military societies. CCNY also had exceptional professors, and one of them was instrumental in the Civil Rights Act of 1954. He was a psychology professor, and he was the one who went to the Supreme Court handling the case. I made friends as well. During my Army career, I had a diplomatic assignment in Israel, and there were a number of CCNY graduates in Israel. I was also instrumental in assisting with filling in the contact information of CCNY graduates in Israel. I also became the military assistant to President Reagan's representative in the Middle East. In my travels throughout the Middle East, I would occasionally come across a CCNY graduate, oftentimes in positions of responsibility. That was very useful. CCNY was a place that gave me a wonderful education and a chance for a career. After I retired from the Army, I went into the information technology field and then decided to build my own company. I was also honored by the school and I became the second distinguished ROTC honor graduate from CCNY.
