Student Life & Rich Traditions

My time there on campus was very short lived because I was there for only two years, because I did two years prior at a community college. In the two years that I was attending CCNY, the theater program that I was in was very warm, welcoming, and embraced all transfer students with arms open wide, which is something that I didn't expect from anybody or any program. I loved it. It felt like a family from that embrace. We grew a lot not only the way I think, but within making new friends and figuring out what I actually wanted to do once I graduated from CCNY. The reason why I chose CCNY to finish my degree was due to the fact that the theater program is a very close-knit program no matter what school you go to, whether it's CUNY or SUNY. The fact that I wanted to keep my education in my theater education, at least in the city, was the main goal for me. I knew that the theater program at CCNY was very well known for reaching out to the community and also showing each individual that wanted to attend that program the different routes they can go or maybe figure out something new that they didn't realize they would like to do later down their path for their future.
