Pamela Laskin was a professor of poetry, fairytales, and creative writing; I had poetry and a fairytale class. She had influenced me. We got to know each other a little bit better. She said she appreciated my input on a poetry class. I took her fairy tale classes where we bonded a little bit more, and that was a good class. I learned a lot. I did an independent study with her, so we worked on a little project I was trying to complete. I saw her a few times a week and talked about it. Our working relationship turned out wonderful. I'm a security officer, but I still think about writing; I still try to read often. I'm always thinking back on my English classes and some of the quotes from my professors. I'm always going back, and CCNY is never out of my mind. Personally, some of the classes I took at CCNY is part of my life until death. My communication with the outside world was better because of CCNY.
