I attended the City College of New York because of the special program they offered. They offered special services to individuals that were weak in both math and writing. The program was a five-year bachelor's program. When I entered CCNY, I was a licensed practical nurse and I wanted to be a registered nurse in the professional field. There was one professor that encouraged us to move forward as a group and not just as single individuals. She encouraged us to get into study groups after school. After graduation, I was able to work as a professional nurse with skills that I acquired in the student body.
