I am a New Yorker, and the City College of New York was near where I lived. That was why it was ideal for me to attend CCNY. My fellow students and instructors offered me an ideal platform to succeed in the courses I was studying. The education courses I took prepared me for a career as an educator. I enjoyed my career and retired from it. That was an ideal opportunity for me.
