I chose CCNY because there was no tuition, and I wouldn't have been able to go if I had to pay tuition. I also chose it because I majored in chemistry, and I thought that it would be a good school for chemistry. Everyone was very friendly there. It was a good experience and I enjoyed being there. After graduation, I worked for a short while, and then I went and got a master's at NYU. Then I went back to work again. I worked for about six years in New Jersey, and then I came down to the Washington, DC, area where I worked for the geological survey. If it wasn't for CCNY, I wouldn't have been able to do those things.
