Part of the reason why I chose CCNY was having an older brother who went there. It was presupposed that I would follow in his footsteps, but I wanted to go there anyway. I spent five years there and had a wonderful time. During my time there I was a member of the lacrosse team, and I was the co-captain for one year before I graduated. I've had lifelong friends from that group. At the 50th anniversary of our graduating class, my two oldest friends and I attended. Other people were amazed that we are still friends 50 years later. After I left CCNY I became a teacher in the public schools, then became a school administrator. I then changed fields when I retired from teaching, and I became a computer consultant. I also taught part-time at a university in the education program for basic computer concepts for teachers. I am most thankful for having a good education from CCNY.
