The late Michael Sorkin, the head of the Urban Design Graduate program, inspired me to attend CCNY. He was my idol and I valued his thoughts about architecture and urbanism a lot. His program was my first choice for the master's degree to meet and study with him. After my graduation, I found the job right away, which brought me to the Bay Area. I have been living in California since then, and I am working as an architectural designer and a project manager in a boutique architectural firm in Oakland.
