Barbara E. Bhoorasingh

I chose the City College of New York because I could go there by train. I was new to the country, and I did not want to get lost using the buses. I've maintained contact with my friends there. Without the degree, I wouldn't have been able to advance professionally. My bachelor's gave me an entry-level into the hospital. Because of the education I've gotten from CCNY, I was able to move up the career ladder to the supervisor level and then went on to graduate school.
