2014

I chose to attend the City College of New York because of its rich history and reputation for academic excellence. I also appreciated the flexible class schedules. Like many students that attend CCNY, I needed to study and work. After enrolling I really appreciated that the professors were both personable and supportive, yet firm and able to hold students accountable for producing quality work; which was something that I experienced firsthand as I prepared my graduate thesis. Although it took me much longer than expected to complete my thesis, my advisor always made sure that I pushed myself and pursued that same academic excellence that CCNY is known for. In hindsight I can honestly say that going to CCNY changed my life and launched me into my career. While attending the International Affairs' graduate program at CCNY, I received my first internship with United Nations, where I've been employed ever since.
