BA '74
A lot of my friends that I graduated from high school with also went to the City College of New York. I enjoyed my time at CCNY. I met a lot of folks there, and some of whom are still my friends to this day. What I used to love about being there was to be outside all the time, going from class to class. I also joined some campus activities. I got to know the Harlem community very well while I was there, and I often go to Harlem even to this day. I loved the Department of Psychology, and I ended up becoming a psychologist, so it was a good experience. I studied psychology and sociology as an undergraduate, and I got my psychology degree, my master's, and my advanced certificate in the School of Psychology from CCNY. I ended up working for the state as a psychologist for 38 years. I also did consulting work for the Board of Education Preschool as a school psychologist for 24 years, so it had a big impact on my career. I loved being a psychologist. I went to The Graduate Center, City University of New York afterward, too.
