Career Success

I wanted to study science. I wanted to accomplish scientific subjects and I did have an inclination for science. I went to school at night. I traveled long distances because I lived in Queens at the time, and then Long Island. I did it the long way. I've worked for Cornetta and from there, I went straight to college. It was worth the effort. I was in the Army and I went to CCNY after my two years in the Army. My wife also did it the hard way after I graduated. She got her bachelor's at Long Island University in Hempstead. It was important for us to be able to help out with our children and to be able to accomplish something in life that was important. It was also important to keep things not just for ourselves but to help people in whatever way we could. I was also on the bylaws committee and the Black Alumni Group. When I left, I worked for Consolidated Edison in the computer department. I worked there for 27 years. I have two grandchildren and two sons. I was able to accomplish things for the company and was happy that I was able to do it for myself. I was able to do accounting programs and performance programs. I did different analysis and statistics for the company.
