I had gone to night school for bookkeeping, and my instructor advised me to go to the City College of New York and get my degree in accounting. I did, and it was the best thing that ever happened to me besides getting married and having a family. The instructors were excellent, and I got an excellent education at CCNY. I worked for a finance company, and I moved up the ranks from office boy to vice president.
