The top student in my high school AP mathematics class planned to attend CCNY. I thought that if she planned attend CCNY, it had to be a great school. My family did not have the financial resources to cover tuition, so the free tuition was another bonus. The beautiful campus, the mathematics, science, and French department staff were inspiring, and encouraged and assisted my pre-med aspirations. Being a part of the alumni association, I am following the careers of other alumni and supporting its activities. CCNY allowed me to achieve my goal of pursuing a medical career. An orphaned girl raised by a grandmother in the Bronx. Thank you CCNY.
