Career Success

At the time, I lived in New York City, and CCNY was the only free school in the country. I couldn't afford anything else. I was young and most people at CCNY were young. I had many friends my age and we were all eager to learn a profession and make a career for ourselves. It was very competitive, which I liked. It was a very good school. In the school of architecture, the freedom to design projects made an impression on me. We were free to express our creativity. I also have a degree in mechanical engineering. Eventually I got a job working for UPS in designing and building facilities that involve both what I know as an architect as well as a mechanical engineer. In my professional career I got over a hundred patents, primarily due to what I learned at CCNY.
