CCNY afforded me a college education at minimal expense. I wouldn't have been able to go to another university with tuition I could not afford. My experience at college was quite interesting. We were put through a program that was extremely rigorous. I can recall having classes during the period when everybody was on vacation, going into the chemical engineering class, and running experiments when everybody else was having some fun and good times. If it weren't for CCNY, I wouldn't have ever gotten to the point in life that I did. I got a master's in chemical engineering, and I am a licensed professional engineer. I got to experience people who were rather interesting and very fine people from all over the world. That's what my education got me. I got to meet people from Europe, the Middle East, and Asia, and have them as my friends and associates. CCNY is a very wonderful place where people of different backgrounds can get together.
