CCNY had a great reputation for being one of the best colleges, and that's where I wanted to go. I majored in psychology. It was a very busy time because I also had to work after school. I had to support myself so that was a big challenge. I almost dropped out the last semester because I had decided I didn't want to be a psychologist any longer. My mother cried so much that I went back, and I got my degree. It was the best thing I ever did because even though I didn't pursue a career in psychology, it helped me to open doors. CCNY was a beautiful memory, and it got me on my way so I could take better care of myself financially.
