Faculty & Staff

When I came in the United States in 2008 to join my husband, I brought with me my two young daughters. Because I aimed to set an example for them, I decided to go back to school and started over. I spent two years at BCC, where I was only seeking an associate's in Education. Meanwhile I changed my mind and transferred to CCNY to get a bachelor's. When I got to CCNY, things were still new to me and I was still learning how the system in the United States worked. The use of technology was a challenge for me. There was a huge difference between the French education system and the English education system. I was lucky to have good professors at CCNY, who helped me a lot. My advisor also was very nice. She helped me a lot. I got my bachelor's in history with the cum laude honor. After the bachelor's degree, I started a professional career. In 2018 I enrolled in a master's. My journey at CCNY contributed a lot to my success. It opened my eyes to the many opportunities that the education field offered to people like me.
