I came all the way from Brooklyn on the subway every day. I came up to the college and was inducted into the athletic hall of fame. I made a speech at that time of the experience of coming back to the college and seeing it. My best event was the long jump and in the Metropolitan Intercollegiate, which was all the colleges in New York. The college has always been someplace very close to me; I had so many friends there. CCNY was an important part of my life. I made a lot of good friends.
