Career Success

I knew it was a good school, and it was virtually free. I lived in Nassau County, so I paid tuition, but it was very, very small. It was a good school. I had good friends. We would get together and study. We would do projects together as well. I was a girl in civil engineering, so all my friends were boys. After graduating from civil engineering I was able to support myself and my family. The City College of New York made everything possible. I got help from a professor, who gave me a good recommendation. I was employed and after a while, I switched around to different companies. I became a resident engineer. I was always out in the field during the majority of my professional career.
