I grew up in Brooklyn, and I wanted to be different. I thought that CCNY would afford me a good chance to have special education. I commuted 45 minutes in each direction on the train. The academics were great. I ended up with a stellar career and did well. CCNY played a major role because I graduated from a fine college. Academically, I had a good experience there. I did my residency at Walter Reed in Washington, DC. I retired two and a half years ago. I practiced OB-GYN in the Washington, DC area for 50 years. I delivered almost 6,000 babies between my medical school internship, residency, and practice.
