Student Life & Rich Traditions

The City College of New York offered what I needed. I was getting set to being a New York City teacher and they had the courses that I needed. I was the first in my family to attend college and graduate and get my BS in education. What stood out to me was getting to the campus every day after work for seven years. After I got off the train, sometimes I had to go up the hill. They called it Cardiac Hill. I'm walking from the subway up to the college; that was an adventure in itself. I miss a lot of colleagues of mine. We were all taking the same classes mostly more or less. I completed my requirements for my teaching license and become a teacher. I decided to continue and take the rest of the courses and graduate with a bachelor's of education. I had a great time and lasting experience in the process.
