First-Generation College Grads

I chose CCNY because there was a 'radical idea' called free tuition. The other reason was, given the 'great' career counseling I had at my high school, my friend told me to switch from Hunter to CCNY. One of my favorite professors was Thomas Karis, who was my constitutional law professor. I aced his courses. I wound up being a psychology major, and there were a few good professors. I liked my mathematics statistics professor. He was really good. My calculus professor was a reasonable guy too. I wound up going into psychology and first went into industrial psychology at the University of Akron. I later got my psychology degree from Hofstra University, and my mentor there had taught at CCNY. I am a statistician, mostly having worked for the government in the Washington DC area. I was able to bounce around different agencies.
