I chose to attend the City College of New York because I lived in New York City and my folks thought it was a good choice. I still keep in touch with my friends from the architecture program. I was in the American Technical Assistance Cooperation Division for a while. I worked for some engineering companies and worked on some New York City projects. I was the assistant commissioner for real estate in New York City and retired from there. I then worked for the Brooklyn Navy Yard Development Corporation for 24 years as a corporate vice president and vice president of construction until I finally retired.
