Gerald "Jerry" S. Hoffman

The Great Blackout of 1965 inspired me to attend CCNY. My brother and I were technically-oriented. The college was well-run, and the professors were very good. CCNY gave me a well-rounded technical background which I really needed when I went out to get a job. I ended up writing programs and testing hardware. I wasn't a software major in college, but I understood the hardware and equipment used in the tests.
