Tyrell W. Lundman

I chose CCNY because of the cost of the programs. I had been to a couple of expensive schools before on scholarship, but at this point I'd been working for a few years and wanted to come back for a master's in architecture. I was too old to ask my parents to pay for it so I had to do it on my own. CCNY was the way to accomplish that goal at a reasonable cost while getting a quality education. I graduated with no debt and it got me off to a good start. I found a good job right away through connections made during the first summer internship I had at CCNY. My undergraduate degree was in music. I'm an organist, and I've been working the whole time as a music director. I love music but was tired of the instability that went along with it. CCNY gave me the chance to have a real career in architecture without throwing everything else away in the process. It gave me what I needed to know to survive here in NYC.
