CCNY had a good reputation. I heard about it with respect and I continued to feel that when I went there. Finances also had a lot to do with it. Tuition was free and I love the campus, too. I liked the diversity of people from all backgrounds and immigrants from all over the world. There was a nice mixture of races and religions on campus, and that enriched it. I worked in medical schools as a program coordinator. I was co-director of the Bronx Women's Center for two years. We met at Jacobi and Einstein hospitals. I'm a member of the Ethical Culture Society of Westchester. I am interested in promoting animal rights which I feel are not well represented in this country or in the world. I'm working to help what wildlife call 'bow and arrow hunting.' The weapon's enormous contractions wound the animal terribly. It leads to painful death and it's a horrible way of hunting. Each state has different hunting laws. The best thing you got to do is just keep moving forward and keep pushing for change. It's definitely necessary now more than ever, especially promoting animal rights. Ethical Culture really believes in making a society where people care for each other, do right by each other, and there's justice.
