Career Success

I chose CCNY because of the reputation that it had and the standards of excellence in the nursing department, as well as its other courses. As a matter of fact, CCNY was known as 'the poor man's Harvard.' The professors that we had were all PhD-prepared. All of us, as students, worked and stuck together. It was like a family. I ended up being a corporate vice president for the health care system under the Archdiocese of New York. I had multiple facilities under me. I was proud of being able to incorporate and apply what I learned from CCNY. I advise new students coming in to stay focused, learn all you can, and enjoy it.
