The first two years I was a traveling student at CCNY, coming from Brooklyn up to the Harlem Heights. The trip back and forth to school made an impression on me. The rest of the year before I finally graduated, I had started a family, and I went to night school for the last four years. Everybody was aware of the CCNY's reputation as an excellent engineering school. It made my path a lot easier.
