BA/MFA '80; '81
Both of my parents went to City College of New York. I attended because of the architecture school. I wanted to go to a school where I could live at home. I wanted to be in a school in an urban setting where the faculty were practicing architects. It was the most wonderful experience, and I am still very involved as a proud alum. I serve on various boards. I'm the past president of the CCNY Architecture Alumni Group. I've stayed a very engaged and involved alum. I was on the faculty for a while. I have remained in good standing with the college and sponsored multiple scholarships. I owe a great deal of gratitude to CCNY for the faculty and my friendships. I was one of the youngest female architects ever to be licensed as an architect in the state of New York. I still hold that record all these years later. I'm a fellow of the American Institute of Architects. I am a LEED certified professional. I'm also a member of the American Society of Interior Designers. I'm a Townsend Harris Medalist - that's a really important accomplishment as a CCNY alumna.
