BA '60
I got out of the Army and then went to the City College of New York. I went to school at night, and all my activities were after work. From work, I would go to class. I took international trade and was working for Pillsbury Company in their international department. They were selling mostly flour overseas, and I stayed with them until 1960. Then I went to a sugar company. I also started working for a corporation that was selling basically wheat and soybeans. I stayed with them until I stopped working. I was with the Infantry and then went into advanced military training. I stayed in the states for an extra six months and I got some schooling. I then went down to the training companies to renew recruits, and I will help train them before I was shipped overseas. They sent me to a CBR school, which stands for chemical, biological, radiological warfare. I also worked in the Public Information Office with the 7th Division. CCNY gave me my grounding for the work that I did, which was mostly in international trade.
