My mother attended CCNY. She received her master's in special education. Her master's thesis was also published. l also attended CCNY and received my undergraduate degree and graduate degree. While attending CCNY, I met many wonderful people. Additionally, I had a few of the professors that my mother had when she was a student there. CCNY impacted my career because I was able to teach at an elementary school near the college. Having earned my master's in reading afforded me the opportunity to work with a broad range of students from grades K through 12. It opened up many doors during my career.
