Moments in Time

The basic reason why I attended CCNY was it was free. My wife went there too. As a matter of fact, I met her there. I was vice president of the senior class, and she was a secretary. My favorite memory was meeting my wife. We've been married now for 61 years. I belonged to Alpha Phi Omega Fraternity. I also worked for the Department of Student Life at night. In our class was Colin Powell. He used to march across campus, and wore his uniform every day. He was a member of ROTC and we knew he was going to end up in the Army. I had a good time there. My degree from CCNY was the basis of my career. I went on to do graduate work at Fairleigh Dickinson University in microbiology. I ended up as director of technical services for a pharmaceutical company.
