The City College of New York was the only place I could afford, and it was a great school. It had everything I wanted and it was something I could get to. It had the best reputation around, that's why I went. I had a younger sister who was also a graduate. I made a lot of friends. In fact when I graduated I got married and I have at least a dozen of my girlfriends that I met also got married that same summer. I had two girls that I was very friends with, and we got married on the same day. We made a lot of friends in the school, even though we didn't stay over. We would meet someplace where we could sit around a table and talk. It was nice. I started working as a teacher, and we lived in New York at that time. We moved out here to California in 1960. I did some accounting work a couple of years ago.
